SLC Youth attended the youth event at Three Bears Lodge in Warrens Wi on March 4-5, 2016. This years theme verse was Hebrews 6:19 “We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure”
Molly & Craig Sanborn and children
Molly Sanborn was the speaker. She is known as the “Cheese ball Lady”, bringing happiness one cheese ball at a time. She goes all around the country speaking about purity and abstinence to teenagers. Her husband Craig is also a youth speaker. They shared their love story during a breaker on Saturday.
Molly’s main message was about the storms in our lives and how Jesus is our anchor. Which fit well with the weekends theme verse. She told of several life experiences and storms in her live and how God helped her through it all. She was an amazing speaker.
The Great Romance Band
The band had an awesome message about bringing new music into your church and always living for God. Several band members shared experiences of how they shared their faith through living it out and being an example for Christ.
